Mass roll-out on [06/09/2022 4:20 PM (PDT)]
Hello! Welcome to the first major update to Cider Audio Lab since our launch.
Twitter: @notmaikiwi
Preface
Feedback is always welcomed in the #audio-feedback channel of our server and/or the donator-only Innovation Lab server.
This update is packed with new additions to the Cider Audio Lab page that took me (Maikiwi) countless hours to craft with constraints and criterias in mind.
(We also have a **Trello** if you didn’t know)
If you like my work, please consider tipping me **here** because the equipment used to make these features possible costs well into five figures USD at this point and will never be reimbursed by the Cider team. I’m paying for all expenses relating to Audio Lab out of pocket and want to keep doing this as a hobby, so every cent from you counts as a helping hand.

Patch Note
Cider Adrenaline Processor:
- “Maikiwi (Adaptive)” has been added. In this mode, Cider will intelligently optimize its processing depending on the quality of the audio you are playing back. While it only supports 64 and 256 AAC from Apple Music for the time being, new processing may be developed for MP3 (local playback) in the future.
- “Maikiwi” renamed to “Maikiwi (Legacy)”
- “Legacy” has been added as the very first version of CAP.
Cider Atmosphere Realizer:
- “Natural (Standard) has been renamed to “Hōjicha Cheese Foam Tea” for naming convention consistency.
- “Natural (High) has been removed.
- “Natural (Plus) has been renamed to "Genmaicha Tapioca Milk Tea” for naming convention consistency.
- "Rock Salt Cheese Foam Tea” has been added. Like the drink it's named after, this gives a rich yet contained analog feel to every song.
- "Uji Matcha Milk Tea” has been added. Like the drink it's named after, this gives both warmth and flavor to every song.
